While having earned a degree in mathematics, Eddie\u2019s love for cars led him to pursue a different direction, and in 1970 he opened his first auto shop called Bethesda German Car.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e2794bf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e2794bf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In 1987 Eddie\u2019s shop was voted number #1 out of 262 others in Washington Consumers\u2019 CHECKBOOK Magazine. Also during that time, and because of his exceptional diagnostic skills, Eddie was officially thanked by Volkswagen for having found an engine-design flaw in the Beetle.<\/p><p>Due to high demand and customer satisfaction, the shop was moved in 1996 from the 1200 square-foot space in Bethesda to a 7000 square-foot facility in Columbia Maryland, and became appropriately named \u201cColumbia Auto Collision Center\u201d.
